Addy's One year photo shoot

I hired a photographer to come out to the house and take pictures of us for Addy's one year photos. I think they turned out great! Sarah from Twenty20 Photography is new to the business and was very very nice. Here is the sampling!

I wanted to get a smash cake shot because they are just so cute! I got her a big cupcake and let her go to town. This was her first taste of real cake...

At first, she wasn't quite sure of it...

OMG OMG OMG OMG I LOOOVE CAKE!!!! BEST INVENTION EVER!!! She was literally screeching with excitement and a sugar high...

After that it was straight to the bathtub. :) She LOVES cake. A LOT.

I decided to do a little photo shoot of my own when her birthday outfit arrived in the mail. I couldn't resist. It was too cute. The tutu kills me...

Sigh. She's getting too big.

I'm a bad blogger!

It's been awhile since I've posted any updates. We are getting geared up for Addy's birthday and she had a bout of strep to get over. She is fine now and back to her giggly self. She also cut another tooth! She has 4 on the bottom and 3 on top. No more gummy smiles....I can't believe she will be one next week. Where has the year gone?

I was searching my sister, Jessica's, camera over the weekend and found a picture of the very first time I ever got to hold my baby. For a year I've been bummed because I didn't think that anyone got a picture of just me and her for the first time. So thank you, Jessica, you made my week. :)

She is getting so big and is getting such a personality! I can't believe that my little baby is turning into such an independent little girl. She is definitely starting to show her personality. :)

Someone stole my baby and replaced her with a toddler!

Addy's latest milestone is standing by herself! She's been free standing for a second for about a week and Monday I stood her up and she lasted for about 30 seconds! She then started giggling too hard and fell down. I can't believe she is getting so close to walking! Crazy.

And of course, I had to get it on video. I apologize for it being out of focus. I was in a hurry!

I'm in denial. I'm not ready for a walking toddler! She's still a baby! We can't have a walker yet! But I'm so proud!

Addy's first Easter Weekend Bonanza complete with video!

Well I can honestly say that Addy had a great Easter even though she has no clue what Easter is yet. :)

It all started on Friday with a Addy's first zoo trip!

First stop were the penguins!

Then off to see the flamingos..

On the way home from the zoo I passed a field of bluebonnets and couldn't resist another photo shoot. I remember mom used to take pictures of us in the flowers when we were little. :)

She was only interested in eating the flowers though...

Saturday we went to Grandma Jessie's where Addy recieved her first Easter basket!

Addy loves her stuffed duck!

And Gramma gave Addy her first piece of chocolate...mmmmm...

I'd say she liked it!

Grampa Ron gave her a dancing hopping bunny that made her giggle...

Sunday finally came and it was time for our Easter! She got a big basket filled with another duck, some bubbles, some rubber duckies, and a couple of whiffle balls that she likes to play with.

Of course I had to put her bunny ears on her...

She loves to play with whiffle balls...

Here are a couple of pics from a photo shoot I did a couple of weekends ago. She is such a great subject. :) I love taking pictures of her. All she wanted to do was eat the plastic eggs.

Talking=DA! Which I personally believe means dog in baby speak. :)

She's over being cooped up in the house! She wants to go outside! But maybe spitting on the window can help pass the time...

I think Addy is well on her way to becoming a ballerina. She's already practicing balancing and stretching...
