Life tends to slip by and time moves way to quickly. If I were a superhero, my power would be to stop time so I could cherish more of it.
Addy, hereunto to be referred to as Adzilla, is a fiesty little thing. She's learned and quickly mastered the power of manipulation through tears and pouty looks. She's a quick study and she's good. I'm amazed at her capabilities at such a young age! I blame Jim...as I always do when Addy shows a rather unfavorable characteristic. Hee. It's what works for us.
I figure I should have a photo montage of the last 3 months instead of trying to cram 3 months of living into a readable post...so I'll get to working on that...which means that it might not get done. I will try though. I promise.
Addy has been sick the last couple of days so her patience is non existent and although I have great sympathy for her and wish my baby to get well, her temper undoubtedly makes for sporadic bursts of pure comedy. Which is why I am now referring to her as Adzilla. Case in point, yesterday, I was attempting to work from home while she was sick (attempting means failing miserably as Addy thought it necessary to turn my computer off every 10 minutes...a seven year old computer that takes 10 minutes just to warm up...so you can see how that was difficult) Anyway, she wanted to push her Barney doll around in her new stroller- it's the only way for her babies to travel. After a couple of minutes of her singing to her kids, I hear her fussing and baby cussing. I venture into the living room just as Barney is snatched out of the safety of his seat and flung across the room. My first thought was "What did Barney ever do to you except LOVE you and Me and be a HAPPY family?" It was then I realized that my sweet angel was pissed because our rocking chair was in the path of her stroller and instead of navigating her baby carrier ONE inch to the left...she thought necessary to hurl Barney and fling herself on the floor in Addy hysterics. Sigh. Welcome to the wonderful world of toddler dramatics.
